a. The Best of the Land: Daniel and his friends were chosen for their potential.
b. Given the Best the World Had to Offer: They were offered the king's food and education.
c. Positioned for Success: In worldly terms, everything was laid out for them to succeed.
III. We Have to Determine Who We Will Be
a. Will We Embrace the Names the World Gives Us?: Accepting the world’s identity over God's.
b. Or Will We Remain Undefiled?: Holding to God's standards in a corrupt culture.
c. What If It Doesn’t Work Out?: The risk of standing firm, even when the outcome is uncertain.
IV. Unshakable Conviction
a. This Isn’t About a Diet: It’s about the source of what we fill ourselves with spiritually and mentally.
b. Let’s See What God Can Do: Trusting in God’s faithfulness when we take a stand.
c. What You Consume Matters: What we allow into our hearts and minds shapes us.
V. When We Are Full of God
a. Wisdom and Understanding: God gives us divine insight when we commit ourselves to Him.
b. Positioned by God for Influence: God can place us in critical positions for His purposes.
c. A Man or Woman of Influence: Those filled with God's wisdom and understanding make a lasting impact.
